Your next door neighbours will be looking at that shit cant rail for decades. Bet they love you.

Always up for a cash weekend!
Everything you said is bang on mate but then you ruined it when i seen you, 'pick and dip 🙉😠👈not hating !!!🙏✌️
Shouldn’t be using a level to clean out but 2x1 batten
I build footings for Kelly's. The bays never work brick. You have a choice either put a big half in or open the perps. I'd would always try and make things work brick within reason. And to be fair it doesn't look bad, probably better than putting a shit 3 quarter. What do you think?
All well said traditional bricky have a listen
Looks like your plots are that good nsbc have to find something to add.
The mask was good yeah!!😂😂😂😂
Tasty
😂😂everybody's apprentice is called shag. 😅
Vertical damp ?! what yuppy comes up with that youve got a damp tray over the lintel 🫠 ...
Great to watch mate bang on with taking up the bay as u go saves any hassles moving forward and house goes up at same height all way around 👍
Great video top work 🧱 👌
Founds not wide enough, and why not just flat lay ?
Very very experienced bloke On point Impressive
Nice work mate. Davidsons job?
Made a meal of that like
Easy on the gable end crap round the doors windows and meter boxes 😊
As a brick layer come house bash ,what the fuck with wraping a lintle strucal part of a houuse cant weigh it mate
It's official: essential details about refunds
Very neat workwomanship 💪
thats a small opening for a slip joint?
nice that you want to look the hero but the rules are in place so what happened to the older heros don't happen again, too many older guys crippled by work ethic. I have been on the trowel 40 years and still working, the gang ho attitude needs to stop
All good but I've done all the kicking off about health and safety and had the boot off sites, it's still the culture
no formers is this from the 2010's
at about 23:41 in you seem to struggle and fast forward. Get your tape measure back from the arch 225mm top and bottom to brick previously laid. Thats your cut
Times have changed pre made brick arch I remember the old wooden arches and marking the courses out on the wood must admit that’s a lot better and quicker
195 to 185 on that curve?
Nice work changy.Hope ya well mate👍
Why was the vertical damp above the window installed. Thanks
@Paul-64 because there a grp canopy to be installed
Changy is that a London pattern trowel ?
@@user-rv7ig6yg8k yes
How much do you get for putting that on mate? Have you done one of the bullseyes yet? Pain in the arse
@Pod_711 it's in the house price so dunno
Pre damage lol. Smart tidy work 🤙
Are the arch’s pre made?
yes just need pointing
@@scottnever8732we don’t really do arch’s on our jobs in OZ, (on new homes) I have years ago. Do you think it it would be easier to just lay it rather than fuk around with pointing?
Top work that changy 💪
@@jonathanfarr43 tha ks
Nice one changy hope to have a little gang like you one day after working for others for 10 years is it worth the extra stress and that ?
Absolutely
Nice tidy brick work once again - consistent day in day out and I’ve been doing it 40 plus years so know a proper trowel when I see one 🍀👍
Thanks 👍
Them.cuts look a bit raf ...take your time
Corner..... first thing they teach you at college ffs. Profiles are for speed. Any tool you find that makes you quicker or takes out effort, is a winner. Work smarter not harder. Lay 5k bricks a day using a tool that doubles your speed if you can. As long as your work is neat, good looking and level and plumb, then use whatever you can to lay as many bricks as possible. Someone laying 500 bricks saying that a man who can lay 3000 is rushing and can't be doing it right..... Nah, he just uses his head more than you do. Think about every aspect of every job, ANYWHERE you can improve efficiency and save time, do so. The tool belt was invented so that you could have most of the tools you need, on you at all times to save time. Battery hand tools invented to save time. Its not rough using a circ saw to cut timber, it's just way quicker and easier than a hand saw. Use your loaf and speed up at all opportunities and anywhere you can make the job less physically demanding, do that too. 1% less strain on your body, every day over a 40 year career, may just be the difference between retiring functional or retiring as a wreck. Smarter..... not harder. More efficient, not rushing. You can be quick AND good. You don't have to be slow to be good.
lak of music ..i.e. radio...
We have radios, just don't use it because youtibe f**is it up
@@Changy_C okydoky never thought of that one ,,,copyright and all that crap i suppose ..anyway pull your finger out👍
As for the greed aspect...... Earn all you can, when you can. Anyone who doesnt want a pound more is a liar or an idiot. You get while the getting is good. Life gets easier the more wealth you have. There is no pleasure, no peace and no rest for a man who is not financially stable. Unless you have millions in the bank and could retire tomorrow and live comfortably off what you have, then you should be earning as much as you possibly can. Anyone who says you are greedy is simply jealous of how much you earn and is annoyed that they stack shelves in a factory for just over min wage and have no prospect of ever earning in a week, what you can in a day. Ignore anyone who isnt telling you to get all you can because they aren't a true friend with YOUR best interests at heart.
New tape ya scruff 🤣🤣🤣
650 for 1k bricks. So if Charlie Collison was on straight runs, he could earn 1950 in 1 day laying 3000 bricks!!! That is insane! I wish i could lay at his speed and find enough straight brick bashing to keep going all year! Working 6 full days and laying 3k a day equals £11,700 a week ffs! £46,800 per month or a yearly income of £561,600. You have to pay a couple of labourers out of that to keep you going but god damn id happily work 6 years straight and maybe even 7 days a week and then retire on 3 mil ffs.
What the fuck is that dpc all about. It will condensate and draw moisture through to the inside won't it?
😂both of you put one side on at a time.😂
What load of bollocks no need for that damp
How much do they pay you to put them on Changy ?
Your 'colleague' is no Sean (Shaun) is he....? It was like he just didn't 'comprende'.
Be interesting to see a price list from subbies of what they get paid for but tell the working man its in the price!!!!
